Emily Dickinson would lower treats down to the children that lived in Amherst, MA with a basket from her 2nd story bedroom window.

Photograph taken in 2009.

Edwardian lawn dress from the 1800's; desk 18 1/2 inches square, a peach "symbolized love" for Miss Dickinson, and a first edition Hawthorne.

The window sill as in Amherst would be adorned with potted plants, Miss Dickinson was a gardener.
