Amy Alcott was an artist.  Daniel Chester French and his father came to the Orchard House to have Miss Amy Alcott teach the young Daniel Chester French to sculpt; this first sculpture was created at the Orchard House of Mr. Alcott in his study.

Amy Alcott when on to Paris, France with Louisa May Alcott after "Little Women" was written and studied art abroad, married, and had a daughter:  Lousia May.

Re enactment was created with Amy's favorite house plant:  geranium, a antique lunch basket of German descent, and a chair that was brought to the Orchard House by the photographer to match the chair in Amy's bedroom.

A special addition, a quick summer rain came through, the rain drops were captured on film.
